Course Transcripts
Congratulations on completing your journey through our core curriculum at St Paul’s House of Formation! We hope your mind was enriched and your heart strengthened, and that you built a few friendships along the way.
St. Paul’s does not have a formal transcript process, as we are not accredited. But you can use this to informally demonstrate how much of the material you have completed prior to the arrival of your diploma.
The two numbers represent how many steps have been completed out of the total number of steps applicable for a given course.
Every lesson has 2-3 steps associated with it. At a minimum, these include the quiz and discussion guide, but some lessons also provide a reading. These, in addition to 2 introductory steps (the syllabus and course calendar) and 4-5 exams, make up the total step count.
All quizzes and exams must be taken in order to be marked complete and included in the total step count.
The other steps, however, are marked complete by the student as they progress through the semester according to an honor system.
St. Paul’s quizzes and exams are designed for retention rather than evaluation. Thus, although we have clear grading criteria for each exam question, the average score does not distinguish between the shorter quizzes (some of which receive automatic 100%’s) and the more rigorous exams.
Our Curriculum page shows the topics covered by each lesson in the 4 semester Core Program. Our additional courses are not topical, but simply walk through the associated texts.
You can learn more about the certificate process on our Diploma page.
